The 2001 Golden Music Awards held
In Nashville in June awarded Antonio with the
“PEERLESS” Country Vocalist Award of 2001.
According to Audre Medlock of Indie Tracker magazine, “The Peerless” honor
is not awarded
every year. Only when an outstanding artist
excels in the industry do we see this.” Antonio is a gifted vocalist,
musician and performer. This year is the third time he has been honored at
the Golden Music Awards totaling five awards to date including Male
Vocalist of the Year. In April 2000 at the OCA show in Las Vegas he won
Male Vocalist of the year and Duet of the year, with Sylvia Winters for
their hit, What You Think is Fair.
As the awards and recognition come rolling in so do the offers. Antonio
has been invited to tour overseas again this year. He plans to visit
Australia, Amsterdam, Holland and others.
Antonio’s first CD, Times Running Out was released on DREAMSCAPE RECORDS.
He has just released his second CD titled
"Sacrifice to
